Axon is owned and operated by Principal Biologists Ken Wimer and Jon Renard who have a combined 30+ years of consulting experience in Central and Southern California. Melding a deeply held conservation ethic with seasoned appreciation for construction priorities and timelines is paramount to Axon’s daily operations.

The Axon team have been granted CDFW, USFWS, and NMFS approvals to work with a variety of special-status species and. Core to their daily operations is the belief that experience, only when combined with the highest professional standards, integrity, and communication, can produce deliverables that prevent regulatory headaches and save clients valuable time and resources.

Axon is listed as a Qualified Biological Consultant with the Counties of Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles, as well as various cities that utilize Qualified Consultant Lists, including Malibu, and is regularly trusted by industry leading firms to prepare technical reports on their behalf.
